Operation modes

The RET control / t can be operated in the following three modes
of operation:
10.1

Operation mode A

The RET control / t is switched ex works to the operation mode A .
In this mode, an operation is only possible when the temperatu-
re measuring sensor (PT 100 or PT 1000) is inserted. When the
instrument is switched on („Power"), the functions "Heating" and
"Stirring" are switched off.
The set rated values are stored and digitally displayed. They are
taken over when the respective function is switched on. The set
rated values can be changed. If there has been an interruption of
the mains, both functions have to be restarted.
The safety circuit can be set or modified. When the power supply
switch is switched on, A is displayed.
10.2

Operation mode B

In this mode of operation can be worked with or without tempe-
rature measuring sensor (PT 100 or PT 1000). When the device
is switched on, the state of the functions "Heating" and "Stirring"
before the last switching off (mains OFF) as well as the data set
022009
last are taken over. The set rated values can be changed. The
safety circuit can be set or modified.
The mode B of operation is indicated by symbol „Q".
When the power supply switch is switched on, B is displayed.
10.3

Operation mode C

In this mode of operation can be worked with or without tempe-
rature measuring sensor (PT 100 or PT 1000). When the instru-
ment is switched on, the state of the functions "Heating" and
"Stirring" before the last switching off (mains OFF), as well as the
data set last are taken over. The set rated values from the opera-
tion modes A and B cannot be changed.
The safety circuit cannot be set or modified. When the power
supply switch is switched on, C is displayed.
10.4

Operation mode X1

In the operation mode X1 the equipment behaves as in the opera-
tion mode A with the following exceptions:
- The allocation of the two temperature measuring sensors
PT 1000 is firm.
- No Error 5, if the temperature measuring sensor PT 1000 is taken
out of the reaction vessel.
