WARNING
Risk of burns by placing electrosurgical instruments on the patient!
An unintentional HF activation when the function "bipolar automatic operation" is active can
occur if the electrosurgical device is placed on the patient and comes into contact with tissue.
In the intervals between use do not place temporarily unused bipolar forceps on patient!
Always make sure the forceps do not accidentally come into contact with tissue, as is
done in the case of low-resistance materials (e. g. liquids)!
Coagulate only if the working tips of the bipolar forceps are visible. Avoid touching other
metallic instruments during coagulation!
WARNING
Risk of explosion due to highly flammable gases!
Materials saturated with oxygen, such as cotton or waste, can catch fire caused by the sparks
that occur during the intentional use of the electrosurgical device.
There is the additional risk of an accumulation of flammable liquids under the patient or in
bodily cavities.
Do not use these products in the presence of flammable or explosive substances!
CAUTION
Improper handling and care as well as non-intended use can lead to premature
wear and / or pose a risk for patients and users!
Therefore, please note:
These forceps are not intended for use with bipolar cutting current or parameter settings
used for bipolar vessel sealing!
The bipolar forceps NON-STICK
treated with special care and protected from damage.
To clean the working tips of the NON-STICK
moist swab may be used (e. g. saturated with physiological salt solution)!
No user repairs are permitted! If the functioning of the bipolar forceps is impaired, you can
contact the Martin Service Center, see chapter 1.6 "Hotline", page 20.
