Transport and Storage (Fig. 2)
Fold the unit according to Fig. 2
Tipped base extensions shall be secured by inserting
screws in holes – Fig. 2 – pos. 1.
Keep the unit in a clean dry place
When stored outdoor, the unit should be protected from
weather influences with tarred canvas.
Residual Hazard and Preventive Action
1. Mechanical Residual Hazards:
Nip:
When lowering a load, an injury may occur on joints due
to the nip of fingers. Avoid any contact WITH THE UNIT AT
JOINTS. Wear protection gloves.
Stroke:
When transporting lifted loads, they may gat
quivering and hit the operator. Move the load slowly
and steadily so that quiver is impossible.
2. Other Threats:
Break in operation:
Do not overload the unit more than with heaviest
permissible load. Broken overloaded parts may
cause injury due to falling parts. Always make sure that
the weight of load is less than permissible loading of the
unit.
Loss of stability:
Never use the unit on slopes and uprising areas. The
load could get beyond control and threaten the
persons. The unit should be always used on a flat and
smooth surface.

Safety Instructions for First Putting in Operation
Always mind the fixed fit of screwed joints and use only the
listed parts of delivery.
Procedure
Carry out the assembly of parts in the sequence as shown.
Make sure that the structural parts are arranged correctly
according to figures.
Operation (Fig. 14 + 15)
Fig. 14
Lifting lever (Fig. 1 – pos. 24) may be kept in the rigid column
(Fig. 1 – pos. 22).
Lifting lever is used pro lifting the load and the valve control.
To lift the load, the valve should closed completely by turning
the lever in the clockwise direction. Then the load is lifted by
pumping the lever.
To lower the load again, the valve should be closed by slow
turning the lever anticlockwise.
The valve opening controls the lowering speed.
Fig. 15
The maximum lifting capacity shall be set up by means of the
jib extension attaching position. E.g. in Fig. 16, the maximum
lifting capacity of 400 kg is set up.
The unit load should not be above the set up – hence
maximum- load at lifting – any procedure contrary to the
principle may cause damage. See also chapter Safety
Instructions.
Operation Safety Precautions
Do not use the unit before you have read the instruction
manual.
Observe all the safety instruction contained herein.
Be responsible to other persons.
Step by Step Instructions
1.
Try to estimate the load weight as precisely as possible
and set the jib position according to Fig. 15.
2.
Move the unit above the load so that the carrying chain
is positioned directly above the load while the jib is
lowered.
3.
Now, attach the load to the carrying hook safely.
4.
Close the lifting cylinder valve (Fig. 14) and pumping
the lifting lever, lift the load at the required height.
5.
Move the load to the required place and carefully shift
the crane.
6.
Lower the load carefully opening the cylinder valve (Fig.
14).
