- This machine is not to be used by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental ability
or inexperienced persons, unless they are supervised, by a person responsible for their safety, or receive prior
instructions concerning the use of the machine.
- Children should be monitored to make sure that they do not play with the machine.
- It is strictly forbidden to use the machine under the influence of alcohol or any other narcotic product.
- Do not allow anyone to use the machine having given him instructions in advance.
Preparation
- Before use, always perform a visual check to make sure that the tools are not worn or damaged. Replace the damaged
blades and clamping bolts in full lots so that it remains well-balanced.
- Meticulously inspect the area where the machine must be used and remove all objects which may be thrown by
the machine (stones, wire, glass, metal objects).
- It is mandatory to make sure that the protections (mudguards) and other safety devices necessary for the
operation of the machine are in place, in good working order and correctly maintained.
- Check the oil level before every use
- Release all the drive mechanisms of the tines before starting.
- Start the engine carefully following the manufacturer instructions and keeping your feet away from the tools.
- Do not operate the engine in a closed environment. The exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide, an odourless
and deadly gas.
- Allow the engine to cool before storing the machine in any room.
- Do not use the engine with an exhaust pipe or air filter.
- Do not use the engine in wooded, bushy areas or on ground covered by dry grass, if the pipe is not equipped with
a spark guard.
- Wear sturdy shoes and long trousers. Do not use the machine when barefoot or wearing sandals. Wear earplugs,
safety glasses and gloves.

- Never lift or transport a machine when the engine is turning.

- Handling: do not lift the machine alone. The weight of the machine is listed on the manufacturer plate. Use a
handling method suitable for the weight of the machine and the situation in order to ensure safety.
- The loading and unloading of the machine in a trailer must be done use a suitable loading ramp. Fasten the
machine securely to transport it safely.
- Transport must be done with the engine stopped and the spark plug disconnected using a trailer: do not use any
other means of transport.
