Troubleshooting
Fault
Display does not switch on.
No or weak signal.
MEE does not receive any values.
MEE freezes a force measurement mode.
CA spindle cannot be uncoupled, uncoupling
cannot be confirmed with "Set".
CSV data faulty or not available.
Clamp assist
Remedy
– Charge MEE.
– Insert new batteries.
– Observe polarity of batteries.
– Reduce distance MEE to CA spindle.
– Check aerial for damage in the joint or on
the plug, replace if necessary.
– Have the battery of the CA spindle re-
placed.
– Wake CA spindle from rest mode by
clamping.
– Connect MEE to a PC and delete ALL data.
– Formatting of the MEE via the File Ex-
plorer.
– To uncouple, keep "Set" button pressed
for at least five seconds until "00000" ap-
pears in the display instead of the spindle
ID.
– Avoid disconnections during data trans-
mission between the CA spindle and
MEE.
