Fig. 6: Power display mode
1 Storage location of the CA spindle
2 Current clamping force of the CA
spindle measured in kN
In force display mode, the clamping force of up to four CA spindles is simultaneously displayed
digitally in kN. When clamped, the clamping force is permanently monitored. With a constant
clamping force, a value is transmitted every 12 seconds, with an inconstant clamping force
every 0.5 seconds.
The CA spindle only transmits values from a certain clamping force. At a low clamping
force (< 1 N), no values are transmitted.
No CA spindle within range or in idle mode:
If no CA spindle is in range or the CA spindle is in idle mode, the update interval (4) continues
to increment to 99 s.
Constant clamping force:
If a constant clamping force is active (change < 1 kN), the update interval is 12 seconds. The
current clamping force is transmitted to the MEE every 12 seconds. As soon as the clamping
force is constant, the update interval increments to 12 s.
Radio
flashes every 12 seconds (0.2 Hz).
