5.2. Establishing a connection for the first time (pairing)

1. Turn on the audio source (mobile phone, tablet, etc).
2. Plug the wall power supply of the Bluetooth module into a power outlet (230 V).
► Control LED 1 on the Bluetooth module begins to flash quickly and
steadily (pairing mode).
3. Turn on the Bluetooth function of the audio source.
► Most devices automatically search for and display other Bluetooth de-
vices in the area.
If your audio source does not automatically search for Bluetooth devices
in the area, start the search manually by selecting "Search for devices"
or a similarly named function.
► The Bluetooth module is displayed on the audio source with the label
"wave.com4 sound".
4. Choose "wave.com4 sound" from the device list displayed on the audio source.
► The Bluetooth connection between the audio source and Bluetooth module
is established for the first time (= pairing).
If you are prompted to enter a password or a security key, enter "1234".
► Control LED 1 of the Bluetooth module flashes rapidly several times,
followed by a pause.
► The wave.com4 sound is connected and operational.
5. Play music with the audio player of your audio source.
► The music is output from the speakers connected to the Bluetooth module.
