• Contrast
Contrast adjusts the picture's overall clarity on a scale of from one
to sixteen, one being the lowest level and sixteen being the sharpest.
1. To set Contrast, highlight CONTRAST and scroll right ( ).
2. The sliding scale to the right becomes active, with the sharpness
set in the middle of its range, 8.
3. Press the up ( ) / down ( ) buttons to adjust contrast accordingly.
4. Press ENTER to select.
Scroll to highlight another setting.
Scroll left ( ) to return to the Icon Column.
Or press EXIT to leave the System Menu.
• Video Resolution
The following formats are supported by the DVD Console:
Connections
Output Options
Composite & S-Video
480i/576i
Component
480i/576i, 480p/576p
HDMI
480p/576p, 720p or 1080i
1. To set the Video Resolution, highlight VIDEO RESOLUTION
and scroll right ( ).
2. A list of the different formats appears to the right.
3. Scroll up ( ) / down ( ) to select a format that conforms
to the maximum resolution of your television.
4. Press ENTER to select.
A prompt appears, asking if you want to keep this selection.
Choose "Yes" or "No" (default is "No"). If no selection is made,
the setting will revert back to the previously selected setting.
Once you've made your final Video Settings selection, a summary of your
choices will automatically appear when you scroll left ( ) to the Icon Column.
This enables you to confirm that you've made all desired choices.
Scroll to highlight another setting.
Scroll left ( ) to return to the Icon Column.
Or press EXIT to leave the System Menu.
• SCART Configuration (230V models only)
1. To set the SCART Configuration, highlight SCART Configuration
and scroll right ( ).
2. A list of configurations appears to the right.
3. Scroll up ( ) / down ( ) to select a configuration, either CVBS or RGB.
4. Press ENTER to select. (default is "CVBS").
Scroll to highlight another setting.
Scroll left ( ) to return to the Icon Column.
Or press EXIT to leave the System Menu.
