HIGH PERFORMANCE AUDIO & VIDEO CONNECTIONS
Important Note: We recommend you use the highest quality audio and video connection
your TV will support, such as the HDMI and optical audio connections indicated in this
guide. The optical audio connection can be made from your Set Top box to the CBL/SAT
audio input connection on the DVD Console, or from your TV's optical output to the TV
optical audio input on the DVD Console.
The HDMI cable is not included with the SurroundBar360° DVD Theater.
HIGH DEFINITION MULTIMEDIA INTERFACE (HDMI)
Note: HDMI delivers digital audio and video using a single cable.To use this
feature, your television must have a HDMI connection, which supports HDCP.
Recommendation: If you can, make a HDMI connection from
the Set-Top Box to the TV. If you can't, make the S-Video connection.
From the back of the DVD Console to the television:
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI Output on

the DVD Console. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable
to the HDMI Input on the back of the television.
OPTICAL DIGITAL & COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO
Many new televisions and audio devices include digital audio connections for
components such as a Dolby Digital/DTS decoder, DVD player, digital cable box
or satellite receiver. These connections ensure the best sound performance.

From the back of the Set-Top Box to the DVD Console:
Connect one end of the Optical Audio cable to the Optical Audio Output

on the back of the Set-Top Box. Connect the other end of the Optical Audio
Cable to the CBL/SAT Optical Audio Input on the DVD Console.
S-VIDEO
From the back of the Set-top Box to the DVD Console:
Connect one end of the S-Video cable to the Set-Top Box S-Video Output.

Connect the other end of the S-Video cable to the S-Video CBL/SAT Input
on the back of the DVD Console.
