Starting-up the milling machine
The three standard cutters in tool stations
1 - 3 are mandatory for operation.
In addition to standard tools, sister tools can
optionally be inserted in the tool holder. When a
standard tool has reached its wear limit, the mill-
ing machine automatically accesses the respec-
tive sister tool.

▷ Insert the CNC cutter standard tools into the
tool holder of the milling machine. Position the
tool shank facing toward the outside.
▪ CNC cutter 2.5 is in the spindle.
▪ Set CNC cutter 1.0 to position 2.
▪ Set CNC cutter 0.6 to position 3.
▷ Optional: Insert the sister tools into the tool
holder of the milling machine. Position the tool
shank facing toward the outside.
▪ Set CNC cutter 2.5 to position 4.
▪ Set CNC cutter 1.0 to position 5.
▪ Set CNC cutter 0.6 to position 6.
I N S T A L L A T I O N
▷ Insert the selected blank into the holder in the
milling machine. The high/thick side of the blank
must face the spindle.

Inserting a blank
▷ Fasten the blank using four screws and washers.
NOTE:
Do not damage the blank!
▷ Do not overtighten the screws! Avoid mechan-
ical stress!
▷ Tighten the screws with the Allen key provided.
