5.1

Milling machine

Countries with 100 - 115 V mains voltage
The machine is preset for a mains voltage of
230 V. When the mains voltage at the set-up loca-
tion is 100 - 115 V:
▷ Pull out drawer ([14] in Fig. 2 on page 43) above
the mains plug.
▷ Replace both T3.15 A fuses with the provided
T6.3 A fuses.

Setting up the milling machine

Please refer to the separate milling
machine set-up instructions.
_ The machine is intended exclusively for use
within dry, closed rooms.
_ A clearance of at least 200 mm is to be
observed sidewards, to the rear and upwards.
Minimum space requirements for the milling
machine (incl. connections):
▪ Width: 970 mm
▪ Depth: 850 mm
▪ Height: 940 mm
_ The empty weight of the machine is between
75 kg and 78 kg. The set-up surface must with-
stand an appropriate load.
_ During operation, the room temperature must
be between 18 °C and 30 °C; avoid large varia-
tions in temperature.
▷ Set up the machine on a sturdy work table or
work bench (off the ground and clear of walls),
or on the set-up cart available from the manu-
facturer.
▷ Adjust the height of the machine by screwing
the feet in or out, ensuring that the machine is
positioned firmly on all four feet.
▷ Mount the service unit (see page 48).
▷ Insert the extraction hose of the extraction sys-
tem to the connection on the rear side of the
milling machine.
▷ Connect the milling machine according to the
connection diagram in the set-up instructions.
