Intended Use

The intended use of the BD ClipVac™ system is to vacuum clipped hair and airborne contaminants generated from the clipping process� It should be used
with the BD Surgical Clipper (REF 5513E)� Only trained healthcare personnel should use BD ClipVac™ system and the BD Surgical Clippers� If the
BD Surgical Clippers and BD ClipVac™ system are being used for the first time, see the training materials provided by BD�
How Supplied:
The BD ClipVac™ Vacuum Unit (REF 5500E) is a non-sterile reusable device� Included in this box:
1� One vacuum unit
2� IFU
The BD ClipVac™ Charging Adapter & Battery will be included in a separate box (REF 5506A/5506E/5506U/5506K) that contains:
1� One battery
2� One charging adapter (charger, power supply & power cord)
Note: The BD ClipVac™ Disposable Filter Assembly is packaged and sold separately (REF 5575)�
Limitations on Reprocessing:
Repeated cleaning has minimal effect on the system� End of life is determined by wear and inadvertent damage due to use�
