Underground installation (black tub)

Clamp the on-site sealing sheet <68> between the pressure sealing flange
<13> and the counterflange <47> and screw together using the
screws <48>.

Underground installation (white tub)

Insert the sealing gasket <37> in the drain body <1> and make sure the
sealing gasket is in place correctly. Then grease the upper side of the
sealing gasket. Push the extension section central flange <33> in
and move it into position.

Ensure ventilation

With exposed installation, make sure that the pre-assembled
ventilation valve incl. activated carbon filter <11> is screwed tightly.

3.9.1
Connecting the venting pipe
In order to ensure the function of the system in chamber installation

in case of flooding, the venting pipe is to be laid at least 10 cm above
backwater level.
The venting pipe must be routed in such a way that it
does not hinder access for maintenance purposes nor the other

pipe connections (pressure pipe / cable conduit pipe).
- Screw the venting valve <11> out of the pump unit
<20> (see Fig. [17]).
- Fix the venting pipe to the connection <12> on the venting valve (1/2 inch).

Make sure the seal between the ventilation pipe and the drain
body fits properly.
