SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully read these instructions and keep them
so that you can consult them later on.
Always unwind the cord completely.

Plug the cord into a 10 / 16 A socket with a ground

connection.
If you must use an extension cord, always use a

model with a ground connection and wires of cross
section greater than or equal to 1 mm ² .
Take all necessary precautions to avoid people

tripping over the cord or the extension cord.
Never put the unit into water.

This unit is not intended for people, including

children of at least 8 years of age, whose physical,
sensorial or mental capacities are reduced, or who
do not have the necessary knowledge or experience,
unless they are trained in and supervised for the safe
use of this unit and are aware of the risks involved.
Do not let children play with the unit. Only children
over the age of 8 may, with adult supervision, clean
and maintain the unit.
Keep the unit and the power cord out of reach of

children under the age of 8 years.
We recommend connecting the unit to an electrical

system including a residual current device with a
breaking current not exceeding 30 mA.
These units are not intended for operation with an

exterior timer or a separate remote control system.
The temperature of the accessible surfaces

can be high when the unit is operating.
Do not touch the metal parts of the unit
when it is operating because they are hot.
Use only the side handles when handling the unit,

never hold the unit by the crossbars.
Before any cleaning operation, unplug your unit

and let it cool down completely.
For your safety, we recommend that you never leave

your unit in a place exposed to foul weather and
humidity.
Never use the unit as an extra source of heating.

Never put a tray or a sheet of aluminum between

the food and the cooking grill.
Never plug in the resistor alone without the unit.

The heating element is solely reserved for this use.
