switched off.
f.
if manual operation of the shutter system is required have a
qualified electrican install CRXN type of motors.
The actuating part of the manual release is to be installed at a
height of less then 1.8m.
Ensure that the motor is accessible after installation.
H05VV-F of the motor power can only be used for indoor installati-
ons use, H05RR-F rubber power can be used in outdoor installation
black ordinary tough rubber sheathed cord (60245 IEC 53) is suita-
ble alternative cable for outdoor use, provided that sheath contains
at least 2 % of carbon in accordance with the tests of clause 11 of

Observe shutter or sun-blind system carefully whilst in operation.
Switch off shutter or sun-blind system and disconnect from
mains supply, if any servicing or cleaning has to be done either
on the system itself or in its immediate vicinity.
WARNING: the drive shall be disconnected from its power
source during cleaning, maintenance and when replacing parts.
Frequently examine the installation for imbalance and signs
of wear or damage to cables springs and fixings. Do not use if
repair or adjustment is necessary
Do not operate when maintenance, such as window cleaning, is
being carried out in the vicinity.
Before installing the drive, remove any unnecessary cords or
components and disable any equipment not needed for powe-

Disconnect the drive from the supply or switch off the automa-
tic controls when maintenance, such as window cleaning, is
being carried out in the vicinity.
Only those spare parts, tools and other equipment as have been
approved by Chamberlain may be used.
Prior to performing installation work, deactivate all connections and
control facilities that are not absolutely essential for operation of the
given system.
Moving parts of the operator must be installed at a height of more
than 2.5m above floor or another floor level which allows access
to the operator. The A-weighted emission sound pressure level of
the drive is equal to or less than 70 dB(A), e.g. by writing LpA ≤ 70
dB(A).
Fit control facilities within sight of the product to be controlled at a
height of at least 1.5 m.
A disconnecting device must be provided in the permanently-wired
installation to guarantee all-pole disconnection by means of a switch
(at least 3mm contact gap) or by a separate fuse.
Torque rating and duty cycle must comply with the requirements of
the product to be driven.
Technical data - torque rating and duty cycle details can be found on
the tubular drive's data plate.
Ensure system cannot trap or cut persons and secure relevant
parts. Observe safety margins as stipulated in DIN EN 294. Ensure
