4 INSTALLATION

Start-up

CAUTION!
FUEL: Use only the fuel indicated in the Engine manual.
CAUTION!
The 2-stroke engines are equipped with high specific power, we therefore recommend the use of lead-free petrol
of a known brand, with an octane number of not less than 90.
• Always refuel with the engine off and away from flames.
• Before loosening the tank cap, place the shaker on a flat solid surface so that it cannot overturn.
• Carefully open the cap to slowly bleed the excess pressure and to prevent the fuel from squirting out.
CAUTION!
Inhaling exhaust gases is harmful to health.
• Insert the pole (23) into the clamp connection.
• Tighten the two screws.
• Insert the hook (21) and tighten the two screws (25).
• Hook the two strap shackles to the tool connections (4) and (6).
CAUTION!
Make sure that all the tool components are properly connected and the screws tightened before using it.

Use

CAUTION!
Strictly comply with the instructions given in paragraph 2.1.1 "Results of the legal tests".
Wear the tool as shown in the figure (F) adjusting the length of the support belt (28) using the specific buckles (27).
The tool must be positioned at hips height as shown in the figure (F). Correct adjustment of the support belt (28)
properly balances the tool, making it less tiring for the operator. After performing the preliminary adjustments, choose
the branches where to attach the hook. The branches to be chosen are those directly connected to the main trunk and
the coupling must be made towards the middle of the branch as shown in the figure (G), in this position it is flexible
enough to transmit the proper vibrations for the fruit to detach.
A coupling too close to the trunk would transmit vibrations that are harmful to the machine and disturbing for the
operator.
To insert the hook (21) on the branch, rotate the extension pole using the handle (22) until it is coupled. Move your left
