Configuring SMS receipt
To send alarm messages via SMS, the call-
ing number of the SMS service centre (SM-
SC) of the mobile service provider must be
entered.
The calling number of the SMSC can be in-
quired from the mobile service provider.
The SMSC calling number must be entered
in the international format (e.g. +49 for Ger-
many).
 Enter SMSC calling number.
 Select activate SMS receipt.
 Confirm entry with "OK".
 Select dial-out.
 Select "Yes" with the "Activate dial-out"
option.
 Confirm entry with "OK".
Configuring groups of recipients
The setting of the groups of recipients as
well as the collective message and emer-
gency stop message are set via the web in-
terface. Add port 8080 to call up the IP ad-
dress.
Example: 192.168.1.1:8080
Note:
Prior to calling up the port 8080, the log in
on the server (as described in Chapter
"Connect with the RDS1 module") must
have taken place:
1 Collective message
2 Emergency stop text
3 Emergency stop recipient
4 SMS1
5 SMS2
6 SMS3 - SMS10
Terminology
Collective message
Text that precedes every SMS.
The text must not exceed 10 characters.
Emergency stop text
Text that is sent in case of a triggered
emergency stop (only with portal stations).
Emergency stop recipient
List of recipients to whom an emergency
stop SMS is sent.
SMS1
List of recipients for the error messages of
the system.
SMS2
List of recipients to whom the feedback is
sent with remote switching.
Note:
SMS3 to SMS10 are currently not used.
 Enter the desired calling numbers into
the lists of recipients.
Note:
The entry of the calling number must be
made with the country code (e.g. +49 for
Germany). The calling numbers must be
separated by blank spaces and must not
contain any blank characters. The lists of
recipients can be up to 200 characters
long.
As an alternative an e-mail gateway and an
e-mail address can be indicated while sep-
arated by a blank space.
This format of the e-mail address must be
entered apposite to the gateway:
An "@" in the e-mail address is replaced by
„*".

The e-mail gateway must be activated. Ta-
ble is an example for the gateway settings
of German mobile service providers. The
current gateway setting must be inquired
from the mobile service provider of the SIM
card.

Note:
The RDS1 must be switched on to ex-
change information between the washing
bay and the mobile phone.
Fault message
If malfunctions occur on the washing bay,
the RDS1 sends a SMS to the listed recipi-
ents with a delay of 60 seconds.
The SMS has the following format:

This means:

Fault 123
The meaning of the indicated malfunction
can be looked up in Chapter "Fault mes-
sages" in the operating instructions of the
washing station. It is the same error code
that is shown on the display of the washing
station.
No fault messages are sent if the washing
station is in the manual operation mode.
Up to 10 simultaneously occurring malfunc-
tions are reported.
Further malfunctions are sent not until the
previous malfunctions have been rectified.
