Installation
Assembly must be carried out by a qualified
specialist.
The RDS1 must be switched on to ex-
change information between the washing
bay and the mobile phone.
Gantry plant

The installation takes place in a separate
control cabinet.
Self-service plant

The installation directly takes place in the
control cabinet of the system.
WARNING
Risk of damage!
Make the electrical connections according
to the circuit plan.
Connect antenna.
Insert SIM card (subscriber identity
module).
Connect system communication.
Switch on the supply voltage.

Connect RDS1 to the configuration PC
via an ethernet cable.
Note:
Briefly push the SIM card in order to re-
move it. The card is then pushed out a bit
and can be removed. Switch off the RDS1
module via the On/Off switch prior to re-
moval.
Start up
Note:
A standard PC with the following minimum
specifications is required for the configura-
tion:
– WIndows 7
– Web-Browser (Internet Explorer / Fire-
fox)
– Ethernet / LAN connection
LAN settings on the configuration
PC
Adjustment only necessary if no DHCP cli-
ent is active on the PC (option obtain IP ad-
dress automatically is switched off).
Open control panel.
Open network and sharing centre.
Select LAN connections and properties.
Select internet protocol version 4 (TCP/
IPv4) and properties.
Enter IP address.
IP address:
192.168.1.2
Subnet mask:
255.255.255.0
Default gateway:
192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS server:
192.168.1.1
Connecting with the RDS1 module
Open the browser on the configuration
PC.
Enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 in the
address bar.
Enter user name and password. Stand-
ard: insys / icom.

Basic configuration
Selecting the language.
Select GSM / GPRS.
Enter PIN (the PIN is assigned by the
SIM card provider).
Confirm entry with "OK".
Select system / sandbox.
Select activate sandbox.
Select option "Reserve interface serial
1 for sandbox".
Select option "Reserve I2C-interface for
sandbox".
Confirm entry with "OK".
