Menu 08 - PELLET TYPE

This function allows you to see and modify the fuel settings related to
the pellet feed and make the operation more reliable by adapting the
stove to its environment.
To access the menu, press [P3].
At first ignition, check that the fuel meets the following criteria for at least six hours:
•
No pellets are accumulated in the burner due to excess supply of pellets or poor draught.
•
The flame is not extinguished due to lack of pellets or excessive draught.
The correct operation of the appliance depends on the environmental conditions (specifically the draught), the type of
connection to the flue, and the type of wood pellets used. If you observe one of the situations described above and
after you have checked the cleanliness of the appliance (see sections 1.4 and 2.3), you may need to change the factory
settings.
There are 19 configurations in total, organised according to the density and specific gravity of the wood pellets.
Choose the most appropriate setting to get good combustion as follows:
•
If wood pellets are accumulating in the burner, choose a setting that is lower than the one currently used,
monitor the combustion for at least one hour and possibly decrease the selected setting until the conditions
described above are obtained.
•
If the flame is getting extinguished, choose a setting that is higher than the one currently used, monitor the
combustion for at least one hour and possibly increase the selected setting until the conditions described above
are obtained.
Press [P1] or [P2] to change the pellet feed percentage, the minimum value being +9 and the maximum value -9. Each
variation changes the pellet supply for the 5 powers of the appliance. (Default setting = 0).
WARNING: You must choose the correct setting. Failing this, the extinguishing of the flame could cause a
distillation of the fuel inside the burner and create pressure in the combustion chamber when opening the door.
