Function and application

The guided drive DFME−...−LAS is a cylinder with piston rod, guide and integrated
linear motor. The linear motor 6 moves the piston rod backwards and forwards.
The linear motor and the integrated sensor measuring system supply signals to the
controller SFC−LACI.
The displacement encoder, controller and motor operate in a closed−loop control
circut. This enables the motor to regulate to specified set values for speed,
position and force within the permitted stroke range with a high degree of
accuracy.
The guided drive DFME−...−LAS in conjunction with the controller SFC−LACI has
been designed for handling tasks with high dynamic requirements. It is not in
tended for manufacturing processes which are sensitive to copper or PTFE.

Transport and storage

· Take into account the weight of the DFME−LAS.
Depending on the version, the DFME−LAS can weigh up to 8.6 kg.
· Ensure the following storage conditions:
short storage times and
cool, dry, shaded, corrosion−protected storage locations
free of strong influence from magnetic fields (e.g. pulse discharges).
