Carrying out commissioning

Note
· Take into account the fact that,
depending on the design, feed
force F of the DFME−LAS diminishes
in the end positions of stroke I
(approx. 5 ... 40 % of the feed force).
The peak feed force (C) thereby
diminishes more than the constant feed
force (D) (è Catalogue specifications).

Start the machine up in one of the following ways:
on the control panel of controller SFC−LACI in accordance with the manual or
with the Festo Configuration Tool (FCT) and its help system on your PC.
Please observe in particular the following points:
Parameterisation
Software end positions
Homing run.
1. Start a test run.
2. Check to see if the following settings on the DFME−LAS or SFC−LACI need to be
modified. Deviations in positioning accuracy or overswing of the system could
be caused by the following:
additional mass too high
dynamics too high
mechanical structure tends to vibrate
incorrect parameterisation on the SFC−LACI
resistance to shifting too high (stress with fitting/plug−in parts).
3. If necessary, repeat the test run.
When all necessary corrections have been made:
4. Check the settings of the test run in continuous operation.
In order to do this, you must extend the test run of the DFME−LAS until it
reaches the thermic steady state (see display of the motor temperature in the
SFC−LACI).
