EGC-FA
2
Function and application
The slide of the EGC-...-FA guide axis supports a load so that it can move. Due to the coupling with a
drive axis (e.g. EGC-...-BS/TB-KF), slide 4 moves forwards and backwards. Extended or additional
slides on the guide permit loading with higher torques and forces.
The slide is mounted on a roller bearing. The reference position of the slide can be detected with the
help of accessories (è 5.1.3 Mounting the accessories).
The intended use of the EGC-...-FA guide axis is to form the
basic structure of cantilever or gantry systems using a drive
axis and a passive guide axis. The guide axis is permitted
for slide operating mode.
