Function and application
The pressure booster combination consists of the pressure booster DPA, the air
reservoir CRVZS, a bypass with non−return valve for continuous filling of the air
reservoir with the system pressure, two pressure gauges for input and output
pressures as well as silencers, a pneumatic valve, screw connectors and fast coup
lings. This combination is screwed onto a profile plate.
1. The pressure booster type DPA has been designed for increasing the pressure
in compressed air lines. When the supply pressure is switched on, the DPA
starts automatically. A pneumatic valve conducts the supply pressure, which is
applied constantly at connection 1, alternately into one compression chamber
then into the other (twin−piston pressure boosting). The compression cham−
bers generate an output pressure up to max. double the value of the supply
pressure. When the set output pressure is reached, the pressure booster stops
operating, but restarts automatically as soon as the output pressure drops
due to application operation.
