1) The belts should be inserted between the pulley fitted on the
rear power take-off of the harrow and the one with the centrifugal
clutch of the blower (Fig. 14).
2) Adjust the tightness of the belts using the lever with roller (A
Fig. 15) and lock with the knob (B Fig. 15).
A correctly tightened belt should not yield to hand pressure.
If the belt cannot be sufficiently tightened using the tightening
device, adjust the position of the blower unit: slacken the 4
nuts of the blower support (B Fig. 16) and using the screw (C)
move the whole unit until the action of the lever (A Fig. 15) will
allow the belts to be tightened correctly. Re-tighten the nuts. If
this operation is carried out correctly, the belts can be replaced
simply by slackening the lever (A Fig. 15).
If a blower rotation speed (rpm) sensor is fitted it will be
necessary to check that it positioned correctly in front of
the reading area (see supplementary instruction booklet).
If required, loosen the screws (E) and move the sensor
support (D Fig. 16).
3) After the V-belts have been fitted, check their correct alignment
between the drive pulley and the driven pulley.
Precise alignment makes the belts run smoothly and last
longer.
4) Check that the belts are centred on the belt-tightening roller
(X=Y, Fig. 17). If they are not, make sure that the triangle is
positioned correctly using the third-point tie rod (Fig. 9).
5) Put back the guards of the pulleys and the belts (A, B Fig. 11),
making sure they are positioned and secured properly.
Check that the belts are centred correctly on the belt-tightening
roller (Fig. 17) after a few minutes of operation of the blower.
The belts should always be replaced in pairs, using original
spare parts.

3.2.5 SEEDER POSITION

It is important to adjust the position of the planting unit correctly
on the supporting equipment when in the field.
Positioning the seeder on the equipment is an extremely
dangerous phase. Proceed with extreme caution and carry
out the operation scrupulously adhering to the instructions
provided.
1) Before positioning the seeder, it is important to place the
equipment in the position in which it is to operate.
2) Adjust points (A) and (B) Fig. 18 of the planting unit so that the
seeding element support bar is at a height of approx 45 to 50
cm from the ground (Fig. 20), and at the same time does not
interfere with the rear roller of the equipment
