Conductivity measuring cell
Type LF 1
1
Description
The two-electrode measuring cells Type LF 1
thread and Type LFT 1
Pt 100 for temperature compensation serve the purpose of conductive measurement
of electrolytic conductivity in aqueous media. Connection to a measuring instrument is
made via a DIN 4-pin plug connector.
Important: The measuring cell must be placed in distilled or demineralized water
for 5 - 10 minutes prior to initial operation.
For correct measurement, particular care must be taken to ensure
that no air bubbles remain in the gap (i.e. between the measurement
electrodes)
Servicing/
Operation of the probe should be checked regularly and calibrated as
cleaning:
required. The gap between the measuring electrodes must be checked
regularly for dirt deposits. Any adhered deposits can be removed with the
aid of a soft water jet, by immersion for 2 - 3 minutes in diluted (1%
solution) acid or by wiping with a cloth or soft brush (e.g. toothbrush/
bottle brush).
Storage:
Dry
Installation: An adapter PG 13.5/1 (part No. 1002190) is necessary for installation in
the in-line probe housing Type DLG.
Particular care must be taken during installation to ensure that the
measuring electrodes are always completely covered with liquid medium.
