Fill the oil through the oil dipstick hole (Pos. 14 Fig. 11-12).
Oil pump flow: 5 lit/min. at 1000 RPM.
The oil quantity indicated refers only to the marine gear-
box. After the filling start the engine and let it run at idle
speeds for a short time.
Stop the engine, check immediately the oil level and refill, if
necessary.
Never exceed maximum oil level.

We suggest that you install a pressure gauge (range 4-
30 bar) position 3 or 17 on forward clutch pressure (Fig.
11-12) with an indicator on the bridge.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Oil level: daily/weekly check.
Oil change: complete after.
The first 50 hours. Then yearly or every 500 hours.
Oil suction filter: Inspect and clean every 200 hours.
(ZF W 220) Oil filter: Replace at each oil change.
Check oil level with oil dipstick (Pos. 14 Fig. 11-12).
