Error messages

If an error message appears, proceed as follows:
1. Remedy the fault as described in the "Solution" column.
2. To clear the error message from the display, press the STOP/OPEN key.
3. If necessary, repeat centrifugation.

Cause
The rotor is loaded asymmetrically.
Mains/power failure during a run.
Centrifuge lid cannot be locked.
Centrifuge lid cannot be released.
Prohibited opening of lid during a run or
lid switch defective.
The centrifuge lid has not been opened
wide enough.
Error in the rotational speed
measurement system.
Error in the drive electronics.
Deviation in the speed check.
Error during initialization or in the memory.
Data communication error with the operation
control.
Drive overheated.
Data communication error with the motor.
Electronics fault.
Maintenance

Solution
 Load the rotor symmetrically and balance it.
 Check the mains/power supply.
 Try to close the centrifuge lid again.
1. Switch off the centrifuge and wait for 20 s.
2. Switch on the centrifuge.
If the error occurs again:
1. Switch off the centrifuge.
2. Actuate the emergency lid release.
1. Wait for the rotor to stop.
2. Open the centrifuge lid and then close it again.
3. Repeat the run.
 Open the centrifuge lid wider by hand.
 Leave the device switched on until the
rotor stops and the error message
disappears (up to 15 min).
 Repeat the run.
If the error message appears again:
1. Switch off the centrifuge and wait for 20 s.
2. Switch on the centrifuge.
1. Wait for the rotor to stop.
2. Tighten the rotor.
1. Switch off the centrifuge and wait for 20 s.
2. Switch on the centrifuge.
1. Switch off the centrifuge and wait for 20 s.
2. Switch on the centrifuge.
 Allow the drive to cool down for at least 15 min.
1. Switch off the centrifuge and wait for 20 s.
2. Switch on the centrifuge.
1. Switch off the centrifuge and wait for 20 s.
2. Switch on the centrifuge.
