Remove the harness group before
installing the child car seat.
1.
Unfasten both harnesses from the connector
located on the rear of the backrest (Pic. 21).
2.
Remove both harnesses from the backrest, sli-
ding them through the slots in the backrest.
3.
Remove the harness between the legs and
the shoulder harnesses by passing the ends
through the slots under the seat base and in
the cover of the seat itself (Pic. 22).
4.
Once the harness group has been removed,
secure the adjustment strap to the base of the
child car seat.
5.
(1) Pull the adjustment until harness group con-
nector (Pic. 1-m) is near the rear of the child
car seat (Pic. 23)
6.
Remove the connector from the hole at the end
of the backrest (Pic. 1-o).
7.
(2) Secure the adjustment strap of the harness
group by fastening the front end of the strap to
the harness group connector, passing under
the base of the child car seat (Pic. 24 and 25).
8.
Store the harness group in a safe place so they
may be reused if necessary.
9.
To reattach the harness group to the child car
seat, repeat the steps carried out for removal in
the reverse order.
10.
Place the child car seat on the appropriate seat
in the vehicle, facing forward.
11.
Ensure that the backrest of the vehicle's seat, if

adjustable, is locked in the upright position.
12.
Make sure the vehicle's seat is set to the fully
upright position.
13.
Check to make sure that both Isofix connectors
are positioned and fastened properly.
14.
Place the child in the child car seat and fasten
the safety harness, making sure that both sec-
tions of the harness (lap and diagonal) are pas-
sed through the harness guide on the armrest
closest to the buckle of the safety harness.
15.
The diagonal section of the harness must be
passed through the harness guide of the hea-
drest, above the child's shoulders, but without
coming into contact with the child's neck (Pic.
26).
16.
Tighten the diagonal section of the harness by
pulling it upwards until it is taut and make sure
the child car seat is securely positioned on the
vehicle's seat.
Adjusting the vehicle's seat belt
On this child car seat, the safety harness position
is adjusted by moving the headrest upwards or
downwards since the harness guide is joined to
it. When adjusting the headrest, make sure the
diagonal harness goes over the child's chest, pro-
perly restraining the shoulders but without resting
on the child's neck.

Proper adjustment of the harnesses and headrest
