10 Troubleshooting
The display indicates no function.
The cables to the control electronics are not connected or are not properly
connected.
➤ Check the plugs and make sure they lock into place.
The display does not show a distance and the system does not emit an
audible signal.
The display and the audible signals are deactivated.
➤ Press the right button briefly.
The system does not emit an audible signal.
The audible signals are deactivated.
➤ Disengage the reverse gear and then engage it again.
The display shows an incorrect distance to the obstacle.
Parameter 14 is incorrectly set.
➤ Set parameter 14 to the other value.
Audible error signal is emitted for three seconds and warning LED flashes
after engaging the reverse gear
One or more sensors are defective or no longer connected to the control
electronics. The display shows the defective sensor:
• For example E1 for front sensor with short cable or E5 for rear sensor with short
cable.
• EE if more than one sensor is defective.
➤ Check the plugs and make sure they lock into place.
➤ Replace the defective sensor(s).
