Disposal
Please dispose of the garment in
household waste. No special
criteria for disposal apply for
medical compression garments.
Material composition
• Nylon 55%
• Polyurethane 38%
• Elastane 4%
• Polyethylene 3%
This garment does not contain
latex.
Washing instructions
The garment can be machine
washed using a gentle cycle and
dried on a low heat setting. If
doing so, it is recommended that
you place the garment in a pillow
case to aid in keeping the Velcro
lint-free and to protect other
clothing from getting damaged.
To extend the life of the garment,
hand wash and drip dry.


Wearing recommendation
Always ensure that the correct
prescribed pressure range is
being applied.
Slightly loosen the bands of the
garment for night-time wear.
Each vertical BPS line on the
bands may be at a different
location on the leg depending on
the size and shape of the leg.
If experiencing any pain, or
discomfort, reduce the
compression (mmHg) applied or
remove device. Inform your
clinician of your action.
When bands are placed correctly
they should slightly overlap,
leaving no space between bands.
Do not tuck bands.
The Velcro tabs should never
touch the skin!
Selecting the circaid
juxtacures length
The circaid juxtacures is available
in short length (28cm), standard
length (33 cm) and long length
(38cm).
The appropriate length is
determined by the patient's floor
to knee crease measurement. The
patient should be measured in
standing position.
If the patients measures less
than 44 cm, select the short
legging. If the patient measures
between 44 cm and 49 cm, select
the standard legging, and if the
patient measures more than
49 cm, select the long legging.
It is important that the length of
the juxtacures covers the calf for
reinforcement of the calf-muscle
pump.
