When the cooling mode is in use, the appliance will continue to operate for approxima-
tely 5 minutes after it is switched off or the set time has elapsed. During this time, the
indicator light will continue to lash.
• ANION button
To freshen the air in your room, just press the ANION button and the ionizer will start.
• The above functions can be selected by pressing the corresponding button on the remote
control. The remote control can operate from a distance of up to 5 metres and an angle
of about 20 degrees.
• You can loosen the bracket of the dust-proof honeycomb ilter as follows:
• To turn the unit off, just press the OFF button.
• To completely turn the unit off, press the OFF button, and remove the plug from the socket.
5 Maintenance
• Always remove the plug from the socket and allow the fan to stop completely before
starting to clean the unit.
• Clean the external surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp (not wet) cloth. WARNING:
Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not use any chemicals such as detergents or abrasive
cleaners to clean the unit. Do not allow the interior (especially the circuit board) to get
wet as this could create a hazard.
• After extended periods of use, be sure to replace the water in the tank with fresh clean
water at least weekly. Also remember to clean the ilter by unscrewing and removing
the ilter bracket. It should be cleaned in a mild soapy solution and then left to dry fully
before reinserting.
• When the unit is not in use, make sure that it is unplugged from the socket. Drain the
water completely and store the unit in its original packaging until you use it again.
• In the event of a malfunction or if you suspect a malfunction, do not try to repair the
fan yourself as this may result in a ire hazard or an electric shock.
