Intended use
This cover simulates the appearance and sound of an open
fire. It must only be used with the S 5004 / S 5004 E (NL)
heater.
Operating instructions
Safety instructions
The heater casing becomes hot by
design during operation. Due dili-
gence towards third parties (particularly
small children) lies with the user.
There is a risk that the electronics may be
damaged due to electrostatic charging. Main-
tenance and repair work may only be carried
out by an expert electrician!
Disconnect the appliance from the battery at
all poles before carrying out maintenance or
repair work! It is not sufficient to switch it off
using the remote control!
This appliance has Protection Class III and
may only be operated with a SELV (Safety
Extra Low Voltage) power supply in accord-
ance with the labelling on the appliance.
Important operating notes
This device can be used by children aged 8
and over, as well as by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
with a lack of experience and knowledge,
provided that they are supervised or have
been instructed on how to use the unit safely
and that they understand the resulting risks.
Children must not be allowed to play with
the unit. Cleaning and maintenance by the
user must not be done by children without
supervision.
The quiescent current of the front case with
flame effect is < 1 mA when switched off. This
current can discharge the caravan's supply
battery, so recharge the battery regularly. In
order to switch off completely, the battery
must be disconnected or an isolating switch
installed.
