Intended use
The electrical auxiliary heater Ultraheat is suitable for installa-
tion in an S 3004, S 3004 P, S 5004 or S 5004 E (NL) heater.
The auxiliary heater is attached to the heater's installation box
between the installation box and heat exchanger. A 230 V ~
50 Hz (8.5 A) power supply is required to operate the auxiliary
heater.
Short description
Heater operation is basically possible with gas only, electricity
only or simultaneously with electricity and gas.
When using simultaneously the electrical unit will switch itself
off before overheating occurs as a result of the stronger gas
burner.
In electrical mode we recommend operating the fan TEB-3
or TN-3 on level 3 (manual or automatic) starting at a power
level of 2000 W (always observe the power supply fuse on the
camping site).
If more than 2000 W are required (heating up / cold tempera-
tures) you must refer back using gas operation as the 230 V
electrical operation is a secondary heater only.
The heating mode can usually be operated without a fan TEB-3
or TN-3 in the heaters S 3004 / S 3004 P regardless of the op-
erating type (gas or electrical mode).
However, to ensure even and fast distribution of the warm air
and a reduction in the surface temperatures on the heater, we
recommend always operating the heater with the fan and a
warm air system.
If your Ultraheat is fitted with a remote sensor (accessory), do
not position it near any heat source (oven, lights, opposite of
blown air outlets etc.) or near a confined area where heat can
accumulate (under a shelf, near corners, behind curtains).
