5. Adding a Humidifier
XT Fit CPAP device can be used with XT Heated Humidifier
(9S-006501) which is available from the home care provider. The
heated humidifier may reduce nasal dryness and irritation by
providing adequate moisture and heat to the airflow. Please refer
to the XT heated humidifier (9S-006501) instruction manual for
complete setup information.
NOTE: When XT Fit CPAP device is used with the heated humidifier, its power supply is from the
power socket outlet of the heated humidifier. DO NOT connect the power cord to CPAP device and
plug into main electrical outlet.
6. Cleaning & Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Main Unit
The main unit should be cleaned regularly (at least every 30 days). To clean the unit, wipe it down
with a damp cloth using a mild detergent. When selecting a cleaning agent, take precautions to
choose one that is not chemically abrasive to the surface of the plastic case. All parts should be
air-dried thoroughly before use. During storage, the unit should be kept in a dust-free location.
WARNING: Don't try to open this device. Repairs and internal servicing should only
performed by an authorized service agent. Don't drop any subject into the air
tube or air outlet.
6.2 Tubing and Mask
The tubing and mask should be checked and cleaned daily. Please refer to the cleaning instruction
packaged with the accessories.

Disconnect the air tubing from the air outlet of the device.
2.
Remove the air tubing and headgear straps from the nasal mask.
3.
Use a mild detergent and prepare the detergent according to manufacturer's
recommendations. Tubing and mask can be washed and rinsed in warm water.
4.
Rinse thoroughly and make sure they are completely dry before next use.
5.
All items of the mask and air tubing are subject to normal wear and tear and may eventually
be replaced. Replace the mask and the air tubing if they are damaged.
CAUTION:
Do not use blench, chlorine-, alcohol-, or aromatic-based (including all
scented oils), moisturizing or antibacterial soaps to clean the cushion,
mask, air tubing. These solutions may cause hardening and reduce the life
of the product.

REMARQUE: Les utilisateurs peuvent utiliser XT Fit dans une vaste plage d'altitude
dans les 0~8000 pi (limite à 5000 pi si la pression est réglée à 18,5-20 cmH
utilisateurs peuvent manipuler le XT Fit à l'intérieur d'une vaste gamme d'altitudes,
de 0~2438 m. La fonction d'altitude fournit une méthode de sortie de pression
exacte à une altitude élevée. Les utilisateurs doivent suivre le tableau indiqué
ci-après pour sélectionner la bonne programmation d'altitude, en fonction de son
altitude au-dessus du niveau de la mer, l'appareil règle automatiquement la sortie
d'air pour atteindre la pression correcte à une altitude élevée. Dans le cas contraire,
la programmation erronnée de l'altitude créera une sortie de pression inexacte.
Il existe 8 niveaux de compensation d'altitude. Vous devez régler le niveau en fonction
de votre altitude au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Vous trouverez ci-après un tableau qui
compare la programmation et l'altitude.

(5) Système de Mesure Total
Appuyez sur le bouton "MENU" pour sélectionner le menu [TMXXXX.X hr], le système de
mesure total enregistre le temps de fonctionnement total de l'appareil et le représente en unité
d'heure.
REMARQUE: Le système de mesure ne peut être réglé que par le médecin.
(6) Compteur de Compliance
Appuyez sur la touche "MENU" pour sélectionner le menu [Cm XXXX.X hr], le compteur
de compliance enregistre le nombre totale de thérapie pour le dispositif. Le compteur de
compliance ne peut être réinitialisé que par le fournisseur, un thérapeute respiratoire ou un
soignant.
(7) Compteur de Sessions
Appuyez sur la touche "MENU" pour sélectionner le menu [CM XXX4hr], l'écran du
compteur de sessions affiche le nombre de sessions de plus de quatre heures. Votre
fournisseur de soins à domicile peut avoir besoin de connaître cette information. Le compteur
de sessions sera effacé une fois le compteur de compliance réinitialisé.
