If difficulties arise during maintenance,

workshop. Mercedes-Benz recommends that
you use a Mercedes-Benz Service Centre for
this purpose.
The screws described in the following text
must be tightened every 9,315 miles
(15,000 km).
Remove covers 1 on all six brackets 2.
X
Tighten screws 3 with a torque of 12 Nm.

Re-insert covers 1 on all brackets 2.
X
Unscrew screws 4 on both covers 5 and
X
remove these.
Tighten screws 6 with a torque of 18 Nm
X
and screws 7 with a torque of 12 Nm.
Screw covers 5 back on using screws 4.
X

Tighten screws 4 with a torque of 12 Nm.
