Two speeds can be selected for every position.
On Prepamatic-2 with the grinding stone the speed on pos. 1 can be
set to either 500 or 1000 rpm.
On the next 3 positions and on the first four positions of the
Prepamatic-2 with 5 grinding/polishing positions the speed can be
set to either 150 or 300 rpm. On the last position of both machines
the speed can be set to 75 or 150 rpm.

Pressing ENTER allows you to select between the different
cleaning programs.
Apart from the 6 pre-defined cleaning programs, additional 4
programs can be user defined in CONFIGURATION.
Depending on the mode selected either the process time, the stock
removal or a combination of both can be adjusted.
The maximum preparation time is 20 minutes in each phase.
The maximum stock removal is 1000 µm.


Newton. This value is applied per specimen, i.e. if the force is set to
50 N and 3 specimens are prepared, a total force of 150 N will be
applied.
When a specimen holder is used the no. of specimens has always to
be set to 3 to obtain the correct force.

Pressing ENTER allows you to adjust the abrasive dosing level
between 0 and 20.
If a grinding or polishing disc with a surface containing abrasive is selected,
dosing is automatically set to OFF.

Pressing ENTER allows you to adjust the lubricant dosing level
between 0 and 20.
If a grinding or polishing disc with a surface containing abrasive is selected,
dosing can only be set to OPEN or OFF.
