Overload indicator
When switching on the machine, the indicator 15
lights up briefly and signals operational readiness.
When the indicator 15 lights up during operation,
this indicates that the motor is subject to overload. In
this case reduce the load immediately and allow the
motor to cool down.
Switching On/Off
Switching on: Push the lock-off button 10 down-
ward and hold.
Afterwards,
switch 11.
Switching off: Release the On/Off switch 11.
Do not switch the machine on or off while the
saw blade is in contact with the workpiece or
other materials.
Cord guide
To avoid the mains cable from becoming damaged, in-
sert it into the cord guide 14. This ensures that the mains
cable is kept away from the cutting area at all times.
Operating Instructions
Guide the machine with one hand on the handle 12
and the other hand on the auxiliary handle 8.
The mark 27 makes sawing alongside a line on the
workpiece easier.
The mark corresponds with the left cutting edge of
the saw blade.
Parallel guide
The parallel guide 3 can be mounted on the right-
hand or lefthand side of the machine.
Loosen both locking screws 6 and insert the two
guide rods into the fixtures on the base plate.
For cuts parallel to the workpiece edge: The stop
rail must face downward.

For cuts parallel to the guide edge on the work-
piece: The stop rail must face upward.
When adjusting the parallel guide 3, pay attention
that it is parallel to the workpiece. Tighten both lock-

ing screws 6 again.

Sawing narrow sections
2500
The machine allows for very narrow, close cuts to
3300
walls (e.g. rebating). For this, the blade guard must

be guided alongside the wall.

Plunge cuts

by the handles intended for this purpose. To hold
the machine more securely during the plunge pro-
cedure, the rear edge of the base plate must face
against a firm stop.
The bevel angle must be set to 0°.

Sawing performance and cut quality depend essen-
tially on the condition and tooth form of the saw
blade. Therefore, use only sharp saw blades that are
suitable for the material to be worked.
The correct selection of the saw blade depends on
the type and quality of the wood and whether
lengthway or crossway cuts are required.
Beech and oak dust is especially detrimental to
health. Therefore, work only with dust extraction.
The blade guard must always be able to move freely
and retract automatically. Therefore, always keep
the area around the blade guard clean. Remove
sawdust and chips with a brush or by blowing out
with compressed air.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
plug from the socket!
Always keep the machine and the ventilation slots
clean.
