Adjusting the sensitivity of the power lift
When work is being carried out in draft control mode, the sensitivity of the power
lift can be regulated by means of the capacity regulator N° 1 fig.20
• Turn the knob anti-clockwise to reduce the sensitivity of the power lift.
• Turn the knob clockwise to increase the sensitivity of the power lift.
4.9.2.4 Combined position and draft control
This operating mode is suitable for work that requires fade-free tractive force
while maintaining the work depth within the previously established values.
Controls:
- P Allows the height of the implement to be set in the desired position.
Move lever A down to position 1, turn potentiometer P until reaching the point
in which the implement has moved to the desired position. Turn towards the
minus sign (-) to lower the implement; turn towards the plus sign (+) to lift the
implement. After having regulated the position, operate the power lift with
lever A. When it lowers, the implement will move to the set height while draft
remains below the set value.
- S Allows draft to be regulated to the limit of tractor wheel slip, above a
position established by the position control setting.
After having regulated the work position as described above, adjust draft by
turning potentiometer S to the point in which the implement has reached the
desired position, always within the limit of tractor wheel slip. Turn towards the
plus sign (+) to reduce draft and limit the work depth; turn towards the minus
sign (-) to increase draft as the work depth increases. After the draft
adjustment, operate the power lift with lever A. When it lowers, the
implement will move to the set height.
- A:
Position 0 – Lever in the intermediate position The power lift will be in the
neutral position and the implement will remain at a standstill in the position it
has reached.
Position 1 – Lever down. The implement lowers until it reaches the set work
position for as long as draft does not exceed the set value.
Position 2 – Lever up. Keep the lever up until the desired height has been
reached. This will return to the neutral position 0 when released.
4.9.2.5 Power lift safety lock
During transfers with the tractor, shut off the power lift delivery by turning the
capacity regulator N° 1 fig.20 clockwise.
This prevents the implement from accidentally dropping.
