Repeatedly press the Source button or use the radio's
Main menu to select the Music player mode.

The Music player menu will be shown on the radio's
display. Select [USB playback] to browse the files and
folders on the USB device using the Tuning knob.

Select the required file or playlist by rotating and
pressing the Tuning knob. The radio will start playback
and the playback progress will be shown on the radio's
display.
7.
When playback has started:
● Press the Play / Pause button to pause / resume
playback.
● Press the Next or Previous button to go to the next or
previous track.
● Press and hold the Next or Previous button to fast
forward or rewind within a track and release the
GB
button when the desired point is reached.
● Press the Stop button to stop playback and return to
contents of the USB device.
Note:
After removing / disconnecting the USB device, close
the USB port's rubber cover again to prevent moist or
dust from entering into the radio.

Using the My playlist feature

The Music player mode allows you to make a custom
playlist and play songs from that playlist. Follow these
steps to create your own playlist and play songs from the
playlist:
1.
Follow steps 1-5 described in the previous section.
2.
Select a track and press and hold the Tuning knob. The
radio's display will show the message "Added to My
playlist".
3.
Repeat step 2 to add multiple songs to the playlist.
4.
After adding the desired songs to the playlist, use the
Backward button to go back to the Music player menu.
5.
Select [My playlist] and press the Tuning knob. The
songs that have been added to your personal playlist
will now be shown on the radio's display.
6.
Rotate the Tuning knob to select the song you want to
play and press the Tuning knob to start playback. The
controls during playback are identical to the controls
mentioned in the previous section.

The Music player menu

You can open the Music player
menu by pressing and holding
the Info / Menu button while the
radio is in the Music Player
mode.
The Music player menu offers
the following options:
● [USB playback]: Select this option to browse the USB
device that is connected to the radio.

Repeat play: Off
Shuffle play: Off
Clear My playlist
● [My playlist]: Select this option to go to your personal
playlist.
● [Repeat play]: Select this option to enable or disable
the repeat feature and repeat all tracks in the current
playlist or folder on the USB device. When the repeat
feature is enabled, the repeat icon will be shown in the
bottom bar of the radio's display.
● [Shuffle play]: Select this option to enable or disable
the shuffle feature and play all tracks within the current
playlist or folder in random order. When the shuffle
feature is enabled, the shuffle icon will be shown in the
bottom bar of the radio's display.
● [Clear My playlist]: Select this option to clear your
personal playlist.
● [System settings]: Select this option to go to the
System settings menu and configure the radio (refer
to chapter 14 "Using the System settings menu" for
details).
● [Main menu]: Select this option to go back to the
Main menu, where you can switch to any of the radio's
modes or set the radio's alarms or sleep timer, or go to
the System settings menu (refer to chapter 15 "Using
the Main menu" for details).

Showing track information on the display

When listening to audio from a USB device, repeatedly
press the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following
information on the radio's display:
● Filename
● Artist
● Album
● Folder
● Path
● Bit rate, Codec & Sampling rate
● Playback buffer
● Today's Date

Charging a USB device

The NETBOX's USB port can also be used to charge USB
devices. The USB port has an output power of 5V / 1A.
To charge a USB device, simply open the USB port's
rubber cover and insert / connect it to the USB port. After
charging has finished, don't forget to remove / disconnect
the device again and to close the USB port's rubber cover
to prevent moist or dust from entering into the radio.
12. Listening to audio using the Aux in
socket
You can listen to the sound of an external device (such
as an iPod or MP3 player) through the speaker of the
NETBOX. To do this, follow these steps:
1.
Open the Aux in socket's rubber cover and connect
the external device to the socket using a 3.5mm audio
cable (not included).
