5.2 REPLACING THE BRUSH RIM AND SANDING HEAD COVER

The sanding head is surrounded by a brush rim. This ensures that the majority of the dust collected remains
underneath the sanding head and can be extracted by the connected vacuum cleaner. The brush rim is a
part that is subject to wear and tear.
The sanding head cover with the brush rim must be replaced when the brushes are no longer able to provide
until you hear the lock make a clicking sound. Turn the hook & loop pad to the left until it can be removed.
Now press the cover against the set of springs and then use pliers to remove the locking ring which connects
the cover to the transmission housing. Detach the suction hose and remove the cover. Beware of pressure
