Safety Instructions

2.1

Using the Correct Cable Connector

Use the appropriate cable connectors that are compatible with the fitting type used. Be sure the contact is
firmly established and do not use burnt cable connectors or connection adapters or such that are not de-
signed for the intended use.
2.2

Improper Use of the Welding and Power Supply Cables

Do not carry the ROWELD
the socket. Protect cord and cables from heat, oil, and cutting edges.
2.3

Securing the Fitting and the Joint

Use clamps or a vice to secure the fitting and the joint before welding. The fitting manufacturer's installa-
tion instructions, DVGW, DVS, European and national regulations will have to be respected in all cases.
The welding procedure must never be repeated on the same fitting, since this may cause parts under
power to be accessible to the touch.
2.4

Tool Maintenance

Keep your tools clean to ensure proper and safe work. Respect the indications and instructions about
their maintenance.
Check adaptors, plugs, and cables regularly and have them replaced by an authorized specialized ser-
vice shop if they are damaged. Keep the connection adapters free from oil, grease, and dirt.
