Before starting the machine, make sure the
feeding hopper is empty.
Keep your face and body beyond feeding
hopper reach.
Prevent your hands, other body party and
clothing from getting near the feeding hopper
and ejection hole. To insert a branch in the
opening, use the feeding help.
Switch the machine off before collection box
hanging or unhanging.
Provide balance and safe posture at all times.
Do not incline too much forward and never
stand higher than the machine foot when
filling.
Keep distance from the ejection zone at
all times.
Make sure, with maximum care, that the
processed material does not contain any metal
parts, stones, bottles, tins and other
undesirable items.
Switch the machine immediately off if any
undesirable item gets to the cutting
mechanism, if the machine makes strange
noise or starts vibrating. Unplug the machine
and proceed as follows:
-
Review the damage
-
Replace any damaged part or have it
repaired.
-
Check if the parts are not loosened
and tighten them if necessary.
Never try to repair the machine, even if you are
properly trained in it.
Make sure the processed material does not
accumulate in the ejection shaft as this would
prevent the transport and could cause a
backlash in the feeding hopper.
If the machine is blocked, switch it off and wait
until the cutting mechanism stops. Unplug the
machine before taking the shredded material
out of the machine.
Make sure the covers and protective
equipment are not damaged and check them if
fitted properly. Provide any necessary
servicing or repair before using the machine.
Never try to change the engine speed settings.
Contact a professional in case of any problem.
At all times, keep the ventilation slots with no
remains and other deposits to prevent engine
damage and possible fire.
Never lift or carry the machine when the
engine is running.
Switch the machine off and wait until the
cutting mechanism stops. Unplug the machine
when leaving the place of your work.
Never tilt the machine when being operated.
Never expose the machine to rain and
moisture. Keep the machine in a dry place
only.
Never try to put the emergency switch-off out
of service.
Use as designated
The machine has been designed to shred fibrous and
woody garden waste. The collection box has only been
designed for collecting (not storing) the shredded material.
Never stand on the collection box.
The machine cannot be used for works other than for
which the machine has been designed and that are
specified in the Operating Instructions. Any other use is a
use in conflict with the designation. The manufacturer will
not be liable for any consequential damage and injuries.
Please be sure to know that the machine has not been
designed for industrial purposes.
Assembly
Caution! The machine must be switched off and unplugged
before any servicing, cleaning and assembly. The same
must be done if the feeder cable has been damaged, cut
or entangled.
Respect the system voltage: The current source voltage
must match the details on the type label of the machine.
An extension cable with a small conductor cross-section
significantly reduces the machine performance. At least 3
x 1.5 mm² for cables with length to 25 m and at least 2.5
mm² for cables longer than 25 m. Caution! Extension
cables not specified must not be used. The extension
cable, plug and coupling must be watertight and approved
for outdoor use.
Cable connections must be dry and must not lie on the
ground.
If a cable reel is used, it must be unreeled.
Proceed as follows (pic. 1-2):
Take the machine out of the package and install the
axis, transport wheels and the collection box
(pic. 1-2).
Operation
Put the machine on a solid and even surface at all times.
Never tilt or move the machine when the engine is running.
