Turn the main switch to "0" and lock in case of emergency and/or maintenance to the lift.
TROUBLE
The lift does not
work.
The lift rises but
does not lower.
Lowering speed is
very low
The motor turns
regularly but the lift
does not rise, or
rises slowly.
The lift cannot lift

POSSIBLE CAUSES
a)
Main switch in "0" position.
b)
Fuse of the transformer or main
protection fuses (installed by the user)
c)
burnt.
Failure in the electric installation
d)
Cable breakage safety limit switch with
open contacts (jammed, broken or
operated by malfunction in the driving
cam controls).
e)
Cable safety actuated due to very slack
cable.
f)
Cable safety actuated due to broken
cable.
g)
Disconnected motor thermal probe.
a)
Slack cable safety actuated by obstacle
under the platform or by slack chain.
b)
Malfunction of the system driving the
operating cam.
c)
Failure of descent solenoid valve.
d)
The safety pressure gauge is activated
because of presence of obstacle under
the footboard.
e)
Safety pressure gauge damaged or
malfunction of the control system.
a)
The flow controlvalve does not work
properly
b)
Clogged pipe
a)
Descent solenoid valve jammed in open
position.
b)
Pump intake filter clogged.
c)
Piston gasket damaged or worn.
d)
Pump worn or damaged .
a)
Faulty calibration valve.
b)
Pump worn or damaged.
a)
Release solenoid valve does not work
properly.
b)
Release cylinder gasket worn or
damaged.
TECNICAL SERVICE REQUIRED
do not attempt to do the job yourself
a)
Turn the switch to "1" position.
b)
Replace the burnt fuses. Should the fuse
burn again, find the cause of the failure.
c)
Check the efficiency of connections and
components (buttons, remote control
switch, transformer, thermal probe).
d)
Repair the limit switch taking care to
check the proper running of the control
system of the cam which operates the
safety limit switches. Replace the limit
switch if necessary.
e)
Operate directly on the remote control
switch by means of an isulated
scewdriver until the cable is tensioned.
f)
Replace the cable (ask for the assistence
of the after sales service of your
distributor).
g)
Wait for thermal probe to reconnect.
a)
Press the rise button to tension all
cables. Remove the causes of cable
slackening, then lower the lift.
b)
Repair the limit switch and check the
correct running of the control system of
the cam operating the safety limit
switchs. Replace the switch if necessary.
c)
To lower the lift operate the manual
lowering valve using the proper key. For
disassembling of the lowering solenoid-
valve see § MAINTENANCE.
d)
Press the rise button until the footboards
go into mechanical stop. Remove the
obstacle.
e)
To complete the descent press the
descent button insert the pin A inside the
control unit.
a)
Clean the valve (see § 7.4)
b)
Clean piston valve
a)
Clean the solenoid valve (see § 7.4).
b)
Clean the filter.
c)
Replace the gasket.
d)
Check pump for proper operation and
replace it if needed.
a)
Request assistence from retailer's
technical service.
b)
Check that the pump is working properly
and replace if necessary.
a)
Check that the spool of the solenoid
valve is working and clean the solenoid
b)
valve.
Replace the gaskets.
