Switching the cooker hood on and off
Adjusting the setting
EN 8
Make sure that the central extraction system in your home is switched
on at the highest setting. This results in the optimum extraction of the
cooking fumes.
1. Press the on/off button.
▷ The electric valve is opened; the cooker hood switches to the
first setting. The display shows '1'.
2. To switch off the cooker hood, press the on/off button again.
▷ The electric valve is closed and the cooker hood switches off.
The display no longer shows the selected setting.
▷ If you wish to switch off the cooker hood immediately after
switching it on, wait for 20 seconds. The electric valve needs this
time to open/close.
The cooker hood has four settings.
1. Press the fan button to go immediately to the first setting (you must
switch the central extraction system to the highest setting before
cooking).
▷ The electric valve is opened; the cooker hood switches to the
first setting. The display shows '1'.
▷ If the cooker hood is already running in setting 1 (via the on/off
button), the cooker hood will immediately switch to setting 2.
2. Pressing the fan button (repeatedly) will switch the cooker hood
from setting 1 to setting 2, then to setting 3 and finally to setting 4
(the intensive setting; this setting will flash on the display).
▷ If you select setting 4, the cooker hood will automatically switch
to setting 3 after 5 minutes. To change the setting before these
5 minutes have elapsed, press the fan button (repeatedly). The
electric valve will remain open. To switch off the cooker hood
completely, press the on/off button (the electric valve will close).
