TRAILER COUPLING
Advice
The part „Trailer coupling", ordering No. ·KODA EEA 400 001A, is intended solely for
professional mounting by the contract partners of ·koda Auto. The mounting
requires the employment of special tooling and Workshop Manuals; because of that,
the „Trailer coupling" must not be sold to final users in a not mounted state.
The trailer coupling of the type TMB PS 009 has been devised to connect the trailers
of the maximum weight of 1200 kg to the passenger cars ·koda Fabia, Fabia Combi,
Fabia Sedan.

General data

The design of the trailer coupling meets all Czech and international regulations. The
coupling has passed the strength tests in compliance with the European Directive 94/
20ES; the design is protected with the certificate of the registration of the Utility Design
No. 5955. The tow bar is provided with a ball stud with the diameter of 50 mm accor-
ding to ISO 3853, the number of approval e1*94/20*0979*01.
During assembly, it is necessary to cut a hole into the rear bumper.
It is necessary to order the cutting assembly for cutting the hole in the rear
bumper only once

It is necessary to order the cover for closing the opening in the bumper for each
vehicle

The cover may be painted according to the colour of the vehicle.
The electric installation for the trailer coupling is not included in the scope of the deli-
very, and it must be ordered separately under the ordering No. EEA 400 001 EL1 -
EL4 according to the required type.
