- The spacing of the openings (important for the assembly to the vehicle) is 166 mm for
the ·koda Fabia Combi, Fabia Sedan vehicle.

- Remove the covers of the orifices for the clamping of the trailer coupling in the area
of the rear wheel arches -arrows-.
- 12 -
- Insert the longitudinal girders of the trailer coupling into the orifices on the rear front
of the car -arrows-. Bring the trailer coupling to the correct position.
- Screw the longitudinal girders to the undercarriage of the car -detail- by means of the
four screws M10 (K). Tighten the screws at both the sides at the same time.
Finally, tighten the screws with the torque spanner to the tightening moment of
70 Nm!
Mounting of the electric installation set for the trailer coupling
Disconnect the negative pole on the battery.

- Take out the cover of the orifice dia. 40 mm on the rear front of the car -arrow-.
- Pull the bunch of cables of electric installation through the orifice, and close the cover
with the bushing (L) that forms a part of the bunch of cables -detail-.

- Pull the bunch of cables leading to the socket through the bushing under the socket
(M).
- Take the socket (N) out of its cover.
Connect the individual cables as follows:
Seven-pole socket with a contact to disconnect the back fog head lamp of the
towing vehicle.
