11. Operation Using the Foot Controller

When the device is on and the foot controller is plugged in or out, the device switches to automatic
mode. The operating mode can, however, be switched with the button MODE below the display at any
time (see "Setting of operating modes").
Push the foot switch AUTO RUN to switch to automatic operation.
Repetition of the sequence, effect speed and flashing frequency are set as described in "Automatic operation"
with the function buttons below the display.
Push the foot switch SOUND ACTIVE to switch to sound to light operation.
Music sensitivity and effect speed are set as described in "Sound-to-light operation" with the function buttons
below the display.
Press the FREEZE foot switch to stop the light effect. The light scene that is active when the foot switch FREEZE
is pushed is frozen.
To switch off this function again and take up original operation, push the foot switch FREEZE again.
Push the BLACKOUT foot switch to darken the light effect.
To switch off this function again and take up original operation, push the foot switch BLACKOUT again.

12. Handling

Never connect the mains plug to a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a
warm environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room
temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the intended
grip areas.
Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
Never put any filter foils, masks or other materials over the light exit. This may cause heat damage and danger
of fire.
The device may heat up strongly during operation. Never touch the casing during operation. Let the effect light
cool off for 20 minutes after operation before touching or cleaning the casing.
