Cut the locking rods to length
The length of the upper locking rod depends on the door height. The follower is
normally 1 m above the floor.
Important!
Mixing up the two locking rods will render them useless: The upper locking rod
N5121 (hollow on the inside) must be sawn off, the bottom locking rod N5130
(solid) does not have to be sawn off. The two locking rods are not interchangeable.

Calculate the required locking
rod lengths (Fig. 4).
Upper locking rod (a1)
· Face plate - thickness
a1 = x1 – 198 mm
or
· Face plate - thickness
a1 = x1 – 201 mm
Bottom Locking rod (a2)
· a2 = x2 – 111 mm + C
You have calculated the required
lengths of the upper (a1) and
lower (a2) locking rods.
