current supply. Only use extension cables if they are really necessary. The use of extension cables
may cause a drop in voltage, which will result in the machine not performing to its peak or the motor
overheating.
- The machine can be plugged into any 230-240 volt AC outlet with 10 amps of fuse protection.
The electrical outlet is to be protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) with a max
triggering current of 30mA (i.e. the appliance should be supplied via a Residual Current Device
(RCD) with a tripping current of not more than 30mA).
IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
- Remove product from its packaging.
- Check that tool and accessories are not missing or damaged.
- If you find anything part missing or damaged, do not operate the tool
until the part has been replaced or the fault has been rectified.
Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.
4.2- Content
The unit package contains:
- Main unit
- 1 Collection box
- 1 Push stick
- Hex Wrench
- Instructions manual
4.3- Assembly
The machine requires some assembly prior to first time use.
This includes fitting the wheels, the tubes (support feet) to the housing and collection box.
4.3.1- Tubes (Support Feet, see Fig.2)
Turn the shredder upside down and pivot the tubes (support feet) upward.
Insert the supplied wheel axle (A) through the respective openings of each tube.
4.3.2- Wheels (Fig.3)
Put the supplied washer (B) and sleeve (C) onto the wheel axle (A) (Fig. 3B)
Place the wheels (D) and tighten nut (E) by hand (Fig. 3C).
Using the supplied hex wrench (F), fix the wheel axle and at the same time firmly tighten the nut by
using a wrench (not supplied) (G). (Fig. 3D)
Finally, place the wheel cover (H) in the center of the wheel. (Fig. 3E)
