DIGITAL CONTROL UNIT INSTRUCTION SHEET
Wall-mounted digital control unit
Installation
The wall-mounted control unit comes complete with all accessories necessary for correct installation on the wall or in a built-in
box. The accessory consists of two main parts: the control unit to be installed on the wall of the room to be air conditioned and
the electronic power unit to be installed on the fan coil. The two parts are connected via a bipolar nonpolarized cable with a
maximum length of 30 m. The wall-mounted unit houses the room temperature measurement sensor. For optimum operation
of the thermostat, position the control unit at a height of 1.5 metres from the floor, away from sources of heat and currents of
air. Avoid mounting on outside walls as their temperature could falsify the temperature reading of the control unit.
Preparing the electrical installation
- to connect the wall-mounted control unit to the appliance, a bipolar cable with 0.5 mm 2 cross section wires must be installed.
To facilitate connection to the control unit terminal board, leave 100 mm of cable protruding from the wall.
Wall mounting pag. 39
To install the wall-mounted control unit, proceed as follows:
- open the control unit by separating the front panel 1 from the base 2
- fix 2 anchors to the wall positioned so as to allow the connection cable to be passed through the top slit (fig. 2)
- pass the cable through the slit and connect using the poles of terminal board MC1 on the electronic board (fig. 2)
- rest the front panel on the base and fix the control unit using the two screws provided
- fix the two screw head covers 5 and 6 by pressing lightly with the fingers.
